Day 13 of 21

#HealThySelf Challenge – Day 13

RESPONSIBILITY IS A REQUIREMENT

Okay, don’t get confused with today’s step.  All “responsibility is required” means is that you MUST accept your part in your healing.  You won’t heal until you do two things: fully accept that it is ONLY YOUR responsibility to be healed and that you have a responsibility to SHARE your story with others so that they may be healed.

Step Thirteen: Be RESPONSIBLE!

True healing can be proven when you share your story with someone else.  If you have trouble getting through it, those “sinking” feelings return, or you experience word vomit uncontrollably then those are tell-tale signs that you still need healing.  The cool thing is that if you share your story with intentions to help others then you take another step toward being whole every time.  The bottom line though is that it is solely up to YOU.  It may not be your fault that you were wounded, but it is your responsibility for you to be healed.  Hence, heal thy self…

So, on the thirteenth day’s journey to #HealThySelf, your CHALLENGE is to:

– ACCEPT THE RESPONSIBILITY BY DOING THE WORK TO BE HEALED AND TO HELP OTHERS BE HEALED AS WELL.  It may be unfair, but so is life.  You went through whatever you went through to help someone else.  Get healed so that others can be healed, too.  Truth is… they are literally waiting on you.  Don’t make them wait any longer. #HealThySelf

#HealThySelf Prayer for the Slighted

God, be with me through this journey.  Help me to help others.  Help me to willingly participate in my own healing.  Help me do it now and not later.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.
