Day 20 of 21

#HealThySelf Challenge – Day 20

PROVIDE PRAISE PROFUSELY

There have been so many times when I literally thought that I was not going to make it.  I am on the doorstep of turning 35 years old and though I have had so many heartbreaks, heartaches, trials and tribulations, I KNOW that to push past survival and into the promised land of thriving as my healthy self that PRAISE IS THE KEY.  Whatever you do while you continue on this journey of healing, NEVER STOP PRAISING THE LORD!

Step twenty: PRAISE Him!

Bottom line… look back over your life and tell me how you’ve made it this far.  So, give our Heavenly Father praise for what He’s done, for what He’s doing and what He’s going to do.  We owe Him that much!  Praising your way through life keeps you humble, grateful and useful.  Your pain, wounds and things could have killed you (mind, body and/or spirit), but you are still here.  Remember to continue to praise God and you will remain your healthy self!

So, on the twentieth day’s journey to #HealThySelf, your CHALLENGE is to:

– PRAISE GOD WITH ALL THAT YOU HAVE AND DON’T STOP.  I love the word profusely as it means continually, spilling over.  Your praise outweighs your pain anyway.  You never lose praising God no matter where you are in life.  PRAISE HIM!

#HealThySelf Prayer for the Survivors

God, when I can’t say anything let me say “thank You”.  When life starts to beat up on me or old pains try to come back to taunt me, let me go to my best defense and that is to praise Your Holy Name. THANK YOU, LORD! I wouldn’t even be here without You… thank You for preserving me.  Thank You for healing me.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.
