Djuana “Miss BJB” Ross (affectionately known by her former students as Ms. DJ) is a spoken word motivational speaker who expresses herself by sharing original works cloaked in truth, realism and the word of God with a “no sugar-coating” approach. Since the young age of 6 years old, she has enjoyed getting on stage to speak and motivate through many mediums. A multi-talented artist in her own right, Djuana also plays the piano, violin and percussion, sings, writes, performs and has published poetry. Her arts training led her to become an experienced middle and high school music teacher after earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in music from the University of Dayton in 2006. Driven by her vision to use all of her gifts for God’s glory, she founded and operates her company, Tru Talent Productions. Her multi-faceted company offers services with excellence, such as professional consulting and a training institution. Miss BJB uses the arts to produce messages that educate, encourage, enlighten and empower audiences.
Drawing upon her innate ability to teach, speak and give advice to others, she also became a certified Life Coach and founded the Tru S.T.A.R.T. Life Coaching program in 2017. That same year Djuana became a published author of her debut book, “Miss BJB: Overcoming Mistaken Identity” which gives snippets of her life’s testimony to teach life lessons to her readers by tackling issues such as rejection, fear and suicide. Five years later she released her collection of poetry and journey to emotional healing called, “Invisible Scars: The Journey of Miss BJB”. It is her passion to leave a legacy that motivates, encourages, and inspires others to live life in total freedom using their God-given gifts to make their dreams a reality. Miss BJB believes in truthfully preparing our future to be their BEST selves! For years, she has spun messages of life and truth in the classroom, on the air and online using her life experiences as a foundation.
Djuana is married to her best friend love. She is an unapologetic follower and servant of Jesus Christ.
